Do I Need to Be Home When Someone Cleans?
It’s entirely up to you! Most of our customers aren’t home during cleanings. We can make secure arrangements, such as providing a key to our office, making a copy for us, hiding a key, or simply letting the housekeeper in and showing them how to lock up.
Do You Send the Same Person Every Time My Home/Office Is Cleaned?
We try to send the same cleaner, but this isn’t always possible. Regardless, all our cleaners provide consistent, high-quality service. If you ever want to make a change, just let us know!
Do the Cleaners Bring Their Own Supplies?
Yes, your cleaner provides all necessary supplies and equipment at no extra charge. However, if you prefer to provide specific products or supplies, just let your cleaner know!
Can I Leave a Note for the Cleaner?
Of course! Feel free to leave a note or email the office. Whether it’s a special request, feedback, or just a thank you, we appreciate your communication. We often call after your initial cleaning to confirm your satisfaction. Our company owners have high standards, and we strive to instill that philosophy in our team. Your satisfaction is our priority.
What About My Pets?
We adore pets! However, to ensure a thorough cleaning, please secure them if they might be in the way. Options include placing them in a garage, kennel, or a closed-off room.
What If Something Was Missed or Not Cleaned During My Cleaning?
Please call us within 24 hours if something was missed. We take pride in our work and will correct any oversights at no additional charge. We do not offer refunds on services provided, but we guarantee our service and will return to fix any issues.
Is a Cleaning Contract Required for Residential Cleaning?
Absolutely not! We earn your trust by delivering conscientious cleaning each and every time we clean your home.
When and How Do I Make a Payment?
Payment is due upon receiving the invoice. We accept cheques, cash, e-transfer, direct deposit and credit cards. E-transfer payments should be sent to cleanforyoubyvicky@gmail.com. Cheques should be addressed to Clean For You By Vicky Inc.
Is there a fee for credit card payments?
Yes, starting February 1st, 2024, a 2.99% credit card processing fee will apply to all transactions. To avoid this fee, you can choose to pay by cheques, cash, e-transfer, direct deposit, which is free of charge.
What Is Your Cancellation Fee Policy?
If a cancellation is made less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled service, a cancellation fee of 50% of the predicted total cost of the service will be charged. This policy helps us manage scheduling and maintain the availability of our cleaning professionals.
Should I Tip My Cleaner?
Gratuity is accepted and appreciated, but never expected. For those who choose to tip, a common amount is 15-20% of your total cleaning fee.
Do You Carry Insurance for Damage?
Yes! We are fully insured. While we take great care in your home, accidents can happen. Our cleaners are trained to promptly notify our office (and you) if something is damaged or broken. We will address the situation immediately, repairing or replacing the item as necessary.
